That moment on 18:20 had me goosebumps when Saba kissed Shoaib's forehead and he just melted and broke down in her lap, definitely the wedding may be a joyous ocassion but for the bride's family it's like trading a part of your soul it literally squeeze your soul and ruptures your heart, been there done that for my 2 elder sisters already and I know how terrible it is to suddenly lose the absence of the person you are so used to seeing the most, the fights we grew into, the laughters we shared, the tears we wiped and all the memories we made all just disappears in a snap!! And I freaking applaud Shoaib and his father, because in this patriarchal stereotypical society of the trash thought *MALES ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO CRY OR SHOW EMOTIONS* they are not afraid showing their emotions and expeessing it vividly coz seriously in my sisters weddings my dad literally walked out of the venue during bidai as he wasn't comfortable expressing his emotions. But I was touched with my brother's emotions, I remember him saying to us that he never wants a babygirl and we were taken aback and then he said it's because he will never be able to give her away to anyone else he will die and we were literally in tears! I loved how stone cold hearted men have so many ongoing emotions within them but due to some toxic stereotypes they gotta surpress them
