I strongly agree with your comment in the beginning about skipping models for retros. I was so upset when I heard they’re skipping the Kobe 7 because they could’ve benefited the most from a protro since they had the best looks imo but didn’t perform well

On the flip side, may be those shoes that didn't perform well should benefit the most in protros "IF" manufacturer would have the guts to upgrade its performance

Dude those all black kd 3s might have been the most durable basketball shoe I ever had. Only wore them outside and lasted years. Absolutely fantastic shoes

this was the first shoe I ever purchased with my own money. saved up $100 and walked in and bought the yellow Christmas pair for $88 + taxes. Wore them down until they had a hole in the bottom lol

Ngl definitely had a moment talking abt the old vids, Got into shoes from being a basketball fan.. started with the eastbay mags… felt like god himself came to town when we finally got a hibbett sports. Chris was one of the first channels I every watched bc he was THE ONLY performance shoes reviewer on yt🙏🏾 especially the being a wade fan and not being able to see his shoes literally anywhere

Hey Chris, I’ve been watching your videos for probably 2 or so years now, I was super into the normal hype shoes, mainly 1s, dunks, etc because of the hype. I’ve been watching your videos and it’s helped me branch out a lot into different lesser popular/hyped up shoes. I remember back in the day I had the 2011 hyperfuse low and they never retro’d that shoe and they prob will never but I remember trying the kd3 at a footlocker and the fit and feel is similar, so I’m super excited for the drop!!

I Remembered that KD Shoes are Snugg like Kobe. So I go 1 size up. On Jordan 1 I go size 10 . Kobe's I go size 11.

Yeah should have started at the 1. These were a bit let down from the 2's, they were heavy and clunky. The 2's were awesome, especially in the all star colorway!
