So apart from the 4 k video, the poor kit lens and the app, its a good camera? Btw i dont but cameras from specs on the box or Nikon's videos on youtube.

i still love this for take pictures from my family with nikkor 1 18,5 lens .

But I still love it. I wish one day I can have nice lenses not too expensive. And I'd like them to improve the useless app. The good thing would be to sell the 1 system again as the entry hybrid category of the brand and have the Z series for professional use.

Thanks for your video. You said it right. This brand fooled their customers. Simply. They weren't very honest. The buffer is too poor. The wifi app has never been improved. The 4K is only for vintage style movie, artistic purpose, or to get 4k stills. But... it's not usable for common daily life usage. The kit lens doesn't fit this camera : ineffective VR, weak lens quality. If you just use ANY OTHER lens you will see what this camera is able to do : Especially the 10-100mm pd zoom, certainly the one who fits the best for daily usages. Then you can use the 32mm f/1,2, the 6,7-13mm, the 18 f/1,8. And the 70-300mm is absolutely gorgeous. This camera could have been something unique in the field of photography, this could have been a legend I guess but selling it with seriously poor kit lens, giving it a very very weak buffer and burying it alive with the most disgusting app in the universe of photography... This camera had no chance to become a best seller because the brand decided it wouldn't. I don't who work there but they have a serious problem. Fooling people in such a way and paying no attention to a remote app for years while people suggest to improve it... If someone can explain...

So, not a video camera, got it. I personally don't care as I don't buy a stills camera for video, not even my Sony.

Dude, quit whining here. First and foremost, it is not a video camera, it is a photographic camera, small and compact so that you can get street photography or even news photography, unassumingly in some cases when necessary. It's the perfect tool. However, if you did want to get a little bit of video, you could either interpolate it later using AI and try to get a better product, or you can do some slow mo and do the same. I recognise you made this video back in the dark ages, but perhaps you should update it. I totally reject your discounting of this camera on the basis of only the video. I did a search before I bought mine and chat GPT told me everything about it that I needed to know. 😳 I've stopped taking my big professional Sony nxcam to simple video shoots now and I'm using this camera with a capture card into a laptop recording on OBS Studio. I can actually record in 4K because the camera has a 4K output. Not only that but OBS let's me assign separate closeups from the same single feed to produce a multicam sequence in post. Or for live streaming from any location.
