I can't believe what i'm seeing, it's far beyond anything i could ever have expected from a remake, like a dream come true, every sprite beautifully re animated as well as the stages, it's like the Snes version on mega steroids, they even have the classic Ninja Warriors arcade ost in there, like daddy Mulk. This will be my absolute game of this year and generation.

Eh... I dunno. I'm mean, I'm pretty sure there's going to be _something,_ I'm just not expecting a lot. The properties that produce lots of fanart are the really big, popular ones. Naruto, Sailor Moon, Dragonball, Touhou, Street Fighter, Sonic The Hedgehog. This is a long-after-the-fact upgrade of a mostly obscure, one-off SNES adaptation of a mostly obscure, one-off 1987 arcade beat-'em-up. Trust me, if there was ever going to be Kunoichi porn, we'd have seen it by now. The other problem is that while having porn simply requires existing, having a _significant_ amount of porn requires a certain look, and that look is _not_ short legs, blank glowing eyes, and weird stretchy arms. (Is fisting even a thing in Japan? I haven't seen it once on Sankaku Complex.) You'd have better luck with Mel from PuLiRuLa.

@@locke103 The biggest change is the sword-wielding kunoichi that spawn at several points in the Japanese version of the game. They're replaced by the short guys with Wolverine claws, presumably because violence against women NPCs clashed with the family-friendly image that Nintendo was trying to cultivate outside of Japan at the time. There's also green blood in the original, which was completely removed in the overseas versions. The English isn't as polished in the Japanese version, but it's still perfectly readable, and doesn't have a lick of Engrish. There's Japanese subtitles at the bottom, and while they can't be disabled, they aren't really an issue. That's all the changes that I can think of.

I am in just complete awe. The #$%@ing, rearranged and recomposed music!... My lord. It is so masterful. That plucky bass. Man, all the added details to the stages and enemy animation; this team has truly evolved this original gem and I am excited, not only to play it; but for the masses to finally play this game. Trying to make sense out of classic video games is an utterly fruitless exercise. Just to use a Taito example, how exactly does popping a bubble with an enemy in it kill the enemy? Wouldn't that free it? And where did the organizers of an illegal underground fighting tournament find tigers who stop attacking when the opponent goes down instead of, y'know, killing him? And isn't ramming the _back_ of his vehicle with the _front_ of yours just going to wreck you in short order, never mind that trying to apprehend a dangerous criminal with zero backup is an incredibly stupid idea to begin with?
