I'm not even mad about it. I said before the game that they were going to lose tonight because they got some help from teams they need to pass, it was going to be a nationally broadcasted game as well as the ONLY game being played, and they were facing a team they SHOULD be able to beat... which all adds up to them guaranteed to blow it because OF COURSE. At this point, every loss helps get them a better draft position so they can use that 1st rounder as a trade asset. I'm not sweating the end of this season and I'd rather they miss the playoffs than get obliterated and embarrassed in the first round anyway.

I was mad about it because I hate to see this team buckle yet again. They know what was at stake and even had a good lead on this game and falter again. Do I think they would've been good enough if they made the playoffs, No, but this young team could benefit again from that experience. I know it was going to be a monumental task to get in the playoffs, but show up more when it counts and this team didn't again

We’ve had control of our own Destiny for a while but just don’t have it. It shows that we are still rebuilding on defense and even on offense with the bottom 6. Fitzgerald chose this path and we should be less surprised about the results.

Pretty disappointing but not unexpected. Jack and Luke continue to struggle with passes and reads. They try and do to mych out there, especially on the PP.. Anywsy hopefully some big changes this summer. Fitz owes the fans a few Christmas in July presents.

Disappointing game for a disappointing season. There is a good team in there and will not take much adjustment in the offseason for them to be back strong next season. Probably a new coach and some addition to solidify the d corps. Not hanging my head. Been through much worse seasons over the years.

I agree Dean, we've been here through a good portion of this year knowing playoffs were going to be too hard for us this year. They need to add a good, winning coach, and add some necessary pieces. Theyll be back

I thought that the Devils were going to win tonight. I should have known they were going to lose because they had a golden opportunity (the teams that are ahead of them, especially Washington & most especially Philadelphia, weren't playing tonight) to win. And they usually lose when they have those kind of opportunities. According to Insider Trading, Travis Green is a serious candidate to be the Devils permanent head coach. And, I hope that Green DOESN'T become permanent head coach (he's even worse than Ruff)! Because if he does, it will be another wasted year(s) for the Devils & Fitzgerald should be fired!

Agree if Green is hired as the permanent coach, Fitz should be fired. Green has not motivated this team much at all, need a different approach.

I agree Chris and Dean, if Fitzgerald hires Green as Head Coach, this will be bad and will cost Fitzgerald his role with us. With all the names out there, if Green is given that role this fanbase will revolt. Every move Fitzgerald makes going forward has to be calculated and the Right move not a lateral move

They had to give Fitzgerald the chance to add this offseason. I believe if they add the necessary pieces & we have a healthy season from all our stars they will be a playoff team next season. The Right moves have to be done this offseason
