Huge props to Roland! I didn't know him before their video, but I have to say he seems like a really genuine and down-to-earth guy. They really seemed to have linked together with their passion for anime. I think such genuine crossovers between Japanese and non-japanese, is really a great way to fuse Japanese viewers and Western audience.

The child-like happiness that's in his voice and shown on Roland's face just put a smile on my face without me even realizing it. That feeling of meeting someone who likes the things you like and is just as passionate about them is such a powerful and pure feeling. Pair that with both his and Joey's nature charisma made it seem more like two high school friends meeting up at lunch and casually talking to each other rather than an interview. This was a fun video. Thank you!

same. i have a lot of friends but almost none of them are into anime. most of them are more into kpop, kdrama, bangladeshi (my homeland), indian and western music. the ones that are into anime watch it casually and only watch mainstream stuff. so most of the times, i find it hard to join in on their discussion and just go "hmm" "yes" through out the conversation. but good for me i recently made a few friends that watch a lot of anime like me. i am also into manhwa and never thought i'd ever find someone who likes bl manhwas in my school. if i talk about reading smut with some other friend, they'd think i'm gross. but if i talk about it with someone who also likes it, we can gush over hot men together. its nice to have friends u share common interests with.

Roland is awesome! Hes so chill and down to earth. The top seven anime list was a really refreshing look at what Japan considers its top of the list. Roland is the closest I've ever came to seeing a genuine real life person come off like an anime character and I'm here for that !

I said this on Joey's video too, but this video further confirms that Roland is naturally amazing at talking to and being talked by people. He fits in every setting and every group of people and it does not even matter how rich he is or what kind of life he lives. Maybe, it's just because Joey and him have a lot in common, but I feel like everyone can be comfortable around this guy. It's truly a rare skill. He should be invited to Trash Talk. I'd love to see a full hour or two with him.
