Epilogue: Gonda not only recieved a harsh reprimand and firing from the CEO, but also having to pay back the 5.2 million yen. His life is in shambles. As for Keiichi and Nagisa, they decided to move to a new house in a new location. Thankfully, they have enough money in their savings to finance their move. The two decided to look for new job prospects. While they were doing that, the two come across Kent Honda and Mary Toyota, the owners of RomCom Inc. Kent and Mary had heard about what the two did in the host club incident. Noting their bravery in face of wrongdoings, they wanted Keiichi and Nagisa to work for them. Promising them training and a starting salary. And so Keiichi supervises sales while Nagisa supervises the security team. Their welcome by other staff members wasn't well received at first, noting that it's strange that the owners decided to make the two newcomers as supervisors from the start, but their skills made them a high asset to the company. Kent and Mary also secretly pushed Keiichi and Nagisa to get married. The two couples would get married at the same time.

A lot of these places don't have cameras for the customer's privacy, so, the one at the cash register might have been a hidden camera that only the owner and CEO knew about. Nagissa might have known about it because she confided to the owner about how she felt about Keiichi, asking him for advice. Since he seemed to like Nagissa and Keiichi, if she told him about the false accusations, he might have told her where the recorder was at, and to have the girls get the video. There is also the possibility that the girls hid the camera themselves, since he had been sexually harassing them in exchange for more customers being steered to them. But a lot of the hostess club clients are company execs that just go there to talk to a pretty girl and wind down after work. So, no cameras, please!

One aspect of this story I don't think is talked about enough is a man's ability to compartmentalize. Every time Keiichi messes around with the girls, it would be a ¥3 mill fine. And as he cannot afford that, the girls are then put in a mental box of "don't even think about it," which is reinforced by the length of his employment. Which means that, even if she stood nak'd in front of him, he'd be primed to think "¥3 mill trap" over "maybe she's into me."

Having closed many a register and many a store if the numbers don't add up there is almost always proof. Accusing someone with no proof and demanding proof from him is close to, might actually be, criminal. Kechii was right to not go back and to not trust them again after that. Honda just wanted him back to get nagisa back and would probably mistreat, or fire, kechii right after. Thought Honda did it, glad I was right. Also glad all the girls and customers backed kechii and gave him his self confidence back. Theft, coercion, blackmail, rape...this guy needs to be neutered then sold to the Yakuza to be used as a sex toy for men, never seeing another dollar or woman again

Make him a full eunıch. But yes, the issue with cash loss is when the manager is the one stealing. Often, the employee counts the money in front of a camera, though there are things that naturally occur (like leaning over the til to listen to a customer asking for train fare in their change) which the manager can use... while they count it in their un-monitored office, where they can skim off the top and make the count short.

Even if he turns out to be the typical bad boss antagonist, I gotta say that Gonda is a bit different. He conducts his antagonism with Keiichi in a stoic manner with passable professional words rather than being such a loud smug ass prick like characters like him, that I thought for once he could have been a villain with a point... well, until everyone comes in with hard evidence anyway. That's when his stoic visage crumbles. I guess the shades help hide his face and expression?
