I've had several friends use the water buckets to catch the voles. Nice amount of potatoes. Adorable little photo bomber.

A couple of cats would be a big help with voles. Looks like you have a good situation for ferals. Or indoor outdoor cars. I have two indoor outdoor cats the only voles or chipmunks or mice I ever see are dead.

We’ve considered cats but we free range our chickens/geese and that might be an issue

@@healthyhorticulture my cats don’t bother the chickens at all. They are a bit scared of them honestly. Chickens and geese are way too big for cats I think. Just an option to consider. They will certainly control rodents.
