Just my review for all of the newbies, like I was. This is a great quick method. Follow the video exactly how she does it, for a great outcome! My only warning is that the wig is not for long term, day to day use. I did this method and sewed it on my head and every once in a while a track would lift, very inconvenient. IF your tracks do lift, hair glue does a wonderful replacement for hot glue if you don't feel like pulling out the gun. Next time, though, I will be sewing. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO! Best out on KZbin by far!!

How long do u think the wig typically lasts if i sew the hair on before using it. 2weeks of straight day to day use and wrapping at night brushing in morning?

it literally takes me 6+ hours to sew, gluing is so much easier but i wear my u parts everyday so its SO annoying when tracks start lifting

How long does this last wit out falling apart? And how do i care for this
@tiarramonet
@tiarramonet 12 жыл бұрын
@mstamalaj Actually doll, what separates my method from others is the ability to remove the hair. Instead of applying glue to the weft, i apply the glue to the cap. The glue adheres to the cap first (creates a bond) and the hair is then attached. It can easily be removed! And secondly, most ladies that make u-part wigs make them to last. It sort of becomes a 'removable weave'. I haven't had any client ask to remove the wefts!! Thanks for watching, i hope that cleared things up! xoxo

Girl I loved your tutorial I am a professional wig maker have been for 32 yrs and I think your technique is the bomb you will always have haters boo to them chile lol I did your technique but what I added was after all the glue was dried an i wore a few times to prevent the wafts from lifting i did like some quick skip stitches over each row but i did it cause i live in high humidity and i didn't want the weftts to even try to lift not that any did but just in case but thanks for Awesome tutorial 🤗

OMG! I did this Saturday night along with your direction for the flawless invisible part and it is so the BOMB.COM!! I was so "feeling myself." I've gotten so many compliments about how natural my hair looks and people asking how I did it. I directed them right to you!!! You've saved me so much money and time but I look I spent a lot! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do the entire combs but I did cut four and sew them strategically around the unit for security and I am so in love! Thank you!

@laurenalyshia3872

Lnae114 You can! You just have to be careful to not get too much product or water on the tracks themselves, because they may slip. And I used hair like 4 times before the glue started to damage it. As long as you're careful, this method is really awesome!

Your video showed me how to lay my tracks better. Thanks! For the ladies who are skeptical: this works and your wigs last so much longer n hot glue doesn't caring so many germs like hair glue.

I don't put glue on the track because you end up ruining the weft. The hair can't be re-used. If you put the glue on the cap instead, you can peel the weft off of the glue.

I laughed at 'pull it off'. White, black, purple or blue, extensions are extremely popular now a days! As a black woman with extremely curly/coily hair, my bone straight extensions allow me the opportunity to 'roll out of bed'. The initial effort is a lot, but after its done, you're good to go! :)
