I just checked a few charts, and Princess Catherine of Wales was born on a Full Moon and eclipse .... full moon in Cancer. Her husband was born on a New Moon in Cancer, but the eclipse occurred a few hours after his birth. Cancer themes are quite strong in their family - two of their children have Cancer Rising, while the other (George) has his Sun at the anaretic degree of Cancer.

Ever since you began this series, I started looking at my chart in a completely new way! Certainly ,because both you and I have Saturn in Scorpio, mine in my 1st House! Steve, your descriptions of what the north and south nodes (respectively) describe/outline sounds about right to me, and fits what I have had to master in this lifetime (MNN), as well as what I have managed with ease .... i.e. the MSN. It simply makes sense.

How very interesting! I was also born on the day of a total lunar eclipse, just a smidge after the fact. And all my natal planets happen to be on the left side of my chart as well, with the exception of my moon/NN. And to boot Pluto is my most elevated planet so it’s already had a conjunction with every single one of my planets, except for Mars. I definitely feel like this is a completion lifetime ad it’s about TRANSFORMATION and AUTHENTICITY. I just see the north node as my optimal trajectory for this life in terms of growth, according to my higher self. You are so my people haha. Thanks much! 💕🌈

My north node is in the 2nd with Pluto in Libra and south node is in the 8th Aries. I have my sun, (new) moon and Mercury in 10th house I have worked since I was 7 years old in my home country (New Zealand). I was the highest paid child model, and made my parents a lot of money, and was hardly in school, when I moved to Australia I started working there at age 14, and now live in America. The only time I haven’t worked is while I was pregnant with both kids and a year or so after each baby. I’m 45 now and still working my ass off. Honestly, I’m exhausted. It would be nice to have a break from working just to pay bills.

This was fantastic and gave me a lot to think about. My north node is conjunct my moon in Cancer in the 11th house, and they are trine my Sun. I’m still fairly novice at astrology and trying to puzzle out the meaning of all of it. This was helpful!

Another fascinating discussion and insightful discussion - thank you so much both of you. Re karma, my understanding is that it's not static, nor the opposite of free will but that at any given moment we have the choice/free will to respond and behave as we choose - but mostly we do so habitually either from a shadow or enlightened perspective. Each micro decision reinforces (or transforms) what is deemed "our karma". In some traditions this is called the 'alaya consciousness' - alaya coming from Himalaya and alludes to our accumulation (mountain) of karma! But we do have a choice to lighten/enlighten our our karma at any given moment - it's up to us. We are reborn with the accumulation of karma from previous lifetimes but not condemned to follow predetermined tramlines. We are energetic entities and always have free will. It just takes effort to exercise it and humility to own it 😅 !! Hope you don't mind me throwing that into the wider conversation. Once again huge thanks from a Virgo north node 😊!!

I live in Texas. We had a very visible partial solar eclipse recently, a couple months ago. I sat outside in my backyard, which has a view of the rest of the neighborhood, in order to watch it, using my free pair of eclipse glasses the planetarium gave out. I was so surprised and dismayed to see so many people outside, completely oblivious to it all. People were mowing their lawns and my neighbor was packing up to go camping. I got to watch the whole thing by myself. I was grateful to be able to witness it. I'm really looking forward to the full eclipse that will take place overhead in April '24.

In some indigenous cultures - the eclipses are bad omens and are to be avoided. I mean - the sun is being blot out. Something that would be life ending if persistent.

Serial killers and people who are highly disturbed have a node very near a luminary. South node is known to be traumatic and angry. If you don't understand these and their sudden and disturbing nature, look at what happens around eclipses. There are plenty experts who know full well how crucial these points are.

I have read somewhere I think it was Dane Rudhyar that the moon brings messages from the outside (cosmos) to the earth when entering through the north node. Like a medeator.

I understand that Steve doesn't want to believe in destiny and in the same token astrology's aspects on natal chart on my experience has been predictable. For example, when Pluto opposes my natal moon, my Mom passed and so are a few I've listened to. And I know this is just one part of the many possibilities of that aspect

Eclipses are caused by the black sun., Ever thought of that? That is the Hindu cosmology. If you take the nodes from th Hindu cosmology you might as well take the black sun as a proper explanation why the sun disappears.

I've gotten very curious about the nodes this year n a deeper probe was needed. Actually if you aren't continuously learning something new that expands the knowledge then.. pfft. I was seriously thrilled to hear something about Blavatsky n the historical references were great!! We've as humans have really been through the eye of the needle in regards to social adjustments bcos we're still adjusting to all manner of changes most manmade. Steve, I would like to give all people a change, even they are born with the Moon on their Sun. Knowing the Moon walks 10 degrees more or less True the Day. Thinking about incomming (Wanning) Moon and out going ( Waxing) Moon. You said those people never get annything from the ground, it will always collaps. I can immagine by the incomming ( Wanning) Moon buth what about the out going (Waxing) Moon even its 1degrees?
