The Noosa Bar and Bay. Saturday morning, February 1, 2025.

Cloudy and a tad windy here in Noosa this morning with a 12 to 18 knot south easterly blowing at the river mouth. Sloppy and choppy on the bar and in the bay. Only a few charter boats (and one outrigger) headed out while I was there. BOM forecast is for south easterly winds 15 to 20 knots, reaching up to 25 knots offshore north of Maroochydore in the late morning and early afternoon. Seas: 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore north of Maroochydore during the morning. Swell: Easterly around 1 metre. Filmed between 6.45am and 6.55am which was about three hours before a 2.18m high tide. Background Music: 'Orange Octopus'... by Unicorn Heads.
