Great fun to see a local video. Well done! I do a lot of trail running around the area and call that bit that you avoided 'Cow poo junction', it's a part of the Pilgrim's Way and the Clwydian Way. But I just wont go there any more. Even if you can get past the cows, your shoes get full of cowshit!
