Amazing video. I got your video recommendation while searching for Tromso northern lights videos. Planning my trip for Feb next year. I too love winter and cold and snow and looking forward to it. Also saw that you just started this channel and with content like this it will grow fast. Keep making great videos.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!! I hope you have the best trip to Tromso, I'm sure you'll love it, it's such a beautiful city!

you were dressed like a Norwegean and absolutely right for this place and cold! In layers is the right way to dress and we Norwegians didn't care very much how jou look, it's more important that you're warm. I'm living north of the Artic Circle myself😀

You're absolutely right, I did a lot of research on what to wear because I had never been in such cold weather before and I'm so glad I wore multiple layers!

When did you go there? I'm planning a trip to see the northern lights too. Apparently February seems to be the best month to visit

If you have the money, you can study in Tromsø, or hopp over to Spitzbergen/Svalbard.

Was it really FinLand, across the border,? With 3 hours drive you may have been just in another fylke/ state of Norway called FinnMark. But nevertheless experiencing the Northern Lights with these colors is awesome😃

It could be! My guide said it was Finland, but I was so caught up in looking outside the window, I could have definitely misheard
@mimosa70702 күн бұрын
It´s highly possible it was Finland. I visited Tromsø in February, and they did have trips to Finland.
@norwegianviking69Күн бұрын
I tried to geo-locate the exact spot, but I couldn't. The terrain / mountains are definitely "Finnish-looking", and not what you would see driving towards Finnmark. From Tromsø, three hours drive would take you almost one hour into Finland. It's just over two hours from the city to the Finnish border.

This was a helpful video! We are planning a trip to tromso this winter. Hopefully we are as lucky as you and get to see the northern lights! May I ask what time of year you went?
@_dahigoesplaces_3 ай бұрын
@@penniek9288 thanks for your comment! I went in February. As I understand it, the lights can be visible anytime between September to April. They’re truly a sight to see, I hope you catch them, good luck! ❤️
