Hey NL, I wanted to tell you about the experience I had at McDonald's when I worked there and you asked about it on an isaac episode. I worked at a Walmart McDonald's once when I was 16, and yes, they have different equipment, usually the fryers oil gets bad much quicker due to having just one compared to two or three, and there is usually one grill to cook everything on. I'm sure it's different everywhere but I worked for a franchise that was so cheap when our freezer broke we ended up still selling the melted mcchickens that came out burnt in the fryer. Our grill was old too. Oh yeah, I worked in four different locations because I moved a lot and there were roaches in each store. Found one in the ice machine, one in the lettuce, and one in between the crevace of the large cups stacked with each other. Also, some people don't clean the sweet tea dispenser or the ketchup one too in my experience. I mean, you get what you pay for.

I work at a grocery store, and oftentimes when I go to the back of the store where the products are stored and new ones come in, I see cockroaches or rats sometimes. And it's pretty damp in some spaces, the boxes get gross because of it and the ambient air in that area, everything is dusty there. It's all around unpleasant, I don't understand why they don't just spend the money and just get it all reworked and cleaned. I mean, I guess I shouldn't be surprised, companies don't like spending money. And since clientele won't see any of this, then they couldn't care less. I remember one time I found a hole in a bag of hot dog buns obviously made by a rat (in the store area, not the back/warehouse area), and I'm sure they probably didn't even do anything about it, like to get rid of rats and whatnot.

I also trained at a Carl's Jr. before working at a brand new store opening and the people who trained me touched the raw meat without gloves and also touched drinks and everything else you got. The shit you learn when trying to educate others... So I was going to tell Eggman that it's called Alpha Centauri because there are multiple stars so they are called alpha, beta, etc. But I Googled to be sure and found out I was wrong. Alpha Centrauri is actually the name for the entire triple star system. The beta, gamma, etc of the list are actually the other stars in the constellation Centaurus. The 3 stars of the Alpha Centauri system are Alpha Centauri A, B, and C, with official names Rigil Kentaurus, Toliman, and Proxima Centauri respectively.

It's gravity is so huge that it doesn't let light escape, everything getting close would have it's particles striped one by one no matter the holes size. So it's not the signal transferring back that's the problem. Most likely a black hole is a combination of ionized plasma and other particles (in some state) with immense gravity and rotational speed. So wondering what's on the other side is like asking what's on the other side of the sun.But no one would ever now for sure.

A black hole is just stuff all crushed together really tightly. There is no other side. There's an inside of the event horizon but it's a ball of stuff that you'd end up crushed on. Like if you had a thousand pockets full of magnets all over you and you fell onto a huge magnet they'd all crush together. But gravity instead.

Listening to these people talk about black holes is hilarious. Are they aware that blackholes basically crush everything with gravitational force into like 1 atom wide spaghetti on the way in? Like a few seconds after the event horizon you'd be dead (and you'd probably pass out before that). I don't expect them to know the intricacies of black holes but Ryan thinking that they lead somewhere or that there's for sure something on the other side is what makes me laugh. This is why I come to the NLSS. It's the best collection of the smartest dumb people on all of the internet.
