I just want to point out, as a veteran, that 1) the National Guard is *barely* the military and, 2) the military-- not just in the US but as a concept throughout time-- has NEVER relied upon the most upstanding individuals in a society, especially for its stock of enlisted troops. At best military service is elevating, at worst it enables some truly monstrous shit, but most of the time, especially these days in the US, it grants plaudits that cover up some fairly common personal foibles. Servicemen and women are not gods, they're just people.

I have to disagree personally. I literally cannot stand to watch/listen when Hafu is on. Which sucks because I have been watching the NLSS since NL and Nick started it. But, I can't stand her and I can't watch them very often anymore when she's on. So I check every time because I miss watching the show. So I don't see the appeal, but chat and the comment section seem to like her, so I'm glad the show is still doing well.

From taking a class on radio broadcasting, the mic or mixer you use is important, you need something f good quality, but hearing my voice and my teacher's is night and day. He's done it for a while though, so having a good voice is probably more experience and practice.

I'm sure editing your voice can increase the richness and appeal for broadcast or even simple conversation But every time I hear Rob speak with his new mixer I get a feeling he weighs 400 pounds or has cotton stuffed in the side of his mouth. The same fat mouth audio recently happened with a news caster for our local NPR station and I genuinely can't tell if the woman has gained 100 pounds over night or she is recovering from a stroke.
