I remember playing this for hoooours only to have my Agumon turn into a pile of s#!t. It was soooo difficult for a kid because it really gives you nothing in terms of a tutorial 😅 those creepy cutscene aesthetics also really took me back! I gotta play this game again and finally have my digimon digivolve properly! I just googled this to make sure this wasn't a false memory and this seems to have happened many many people.

I never really watched the show outside of one of the movies. However I did have this game as a kid. I had this game and Digimon Rumble Arena. I would've liked to get more into this game, but as I was a small child back then I had a hard time understanding how to progress. I liked so much of the monster designs but getting the evolutions you want is way more complicated than my child brain wanted to grasp. Plus as a kid this was a time before easy access to the internet. So I couldn't really just look up a guide. This was the era of guidebooks and I didn't have one. I did get to see more of the game by watching my older brother play it. I remember him filling out the "pokedex?" I guess of this game. So I got to see most of the crazy evolutions you could get. Also I am pretty sure I had that Galantmon action figure that was shown in one of the commercials at the start of the video. I thought he was so cool. He was one of my favorites in Rumble Arena.

@@SteamyStreamers Yeah man. I had forgotten about this game. Brought me back to when gaming was more mysterious. OH! I just remembered I think I have a tip. I'm pretty sure, I have a distinct memory that whenever the "Finish" comes up and that gauge appears. You have to absolutely spam the shit out of the L1/L2, R1/R2 buttons to fill the gauge and make your attack stronger. I just unlocked that memory of ruining my fingers playing this.

digimon is better on story and monster design, but sadly pokemon haves the better games wich is the part that i care about at the end of the day i would love for a good classic RPG digimon game to come out, but they always try to get out of the box and they always miss :( next order was cool tho, like the follow up of digimon wolrd 1

Also I forgot to mention some digimon only appear at night. Also your digivolve is based on stats like strength has to be a certain number while weight is a certain number etc. Its rough lol

Played this game as a kid back in the early 90s. But it was too hard for me. I never finished it, so later in my 20s. I found the game again in a moment. Pop used gamestore for 10.99 I bought it finished it. And I really liked it. It was unlike any of the games that we play today. Getting. The digimon to disevolve into what you want. Requires a strategy guide. I was so excited when I got an agumon to digival into metalgreymom. Still have it sitting behind my TV. Oh yeah, that's right.I played it on a 60 gigabyte playstation3 With backwards compatibility and thankfully, I still had an old PlayStation. One memory card laying around the house somewhere and at the time gamestop sold old a PlayStation memory card. Attachment
