There was a massive shift in societal perception during this past election, that being the sudden rise of the younger generation. Gen Z doesn’t vote for the most part (and over half have reached adult hood), and millennials don’t really vote either. This election saw the largest turn out for both generations who have been long neglected in politics, this sudden turn out just about flipped everything. You know it’s bad if even neutral people are taking action. Ps: this election saw an upsurge in the number of voters and had one of the largest turnout outs in recent history (past couple of decades). He clearly misunderstood the numbers, it’s not that the blue underperformed, it’s that they were outnumbered. People who don’t vote should logically apply to neither side, neutral or inactive parties can quietly flip without anyone noticing.

I would think that the number one mistake of being a pollster is having political bias and rooting for a particular candidate. If you want to be an accurate pollster and guess who's going to win the election, then you need to approach everything under a non-political lens, as if you have no skin in the game. We humans are flawed by our very nature, and we always have biases in everything. I don't know if this guy thought he was being indifferent, but it was painfully obvious that he has a left-wing bias and was rooting for Kamala Harris. The problem is that a lot of times,13 keys or not, our biases will blind us and cause us to see what you want to see, and ignore everything else that contradicts what you want to happen.
