Pacifist characters can work easily if your not an idiot about it. Play the group buffer or healer or play something using only staves or fists to fight specifying you never throw lethal punches or whatever.

It could probably work even better, but I'm not that smart. Pacifists lived throughout time yet war will always be a thing. What pacifist would do if war was at their doorstep?

@realdragon Eh, so I kind of wanted to do an outro on it but I decided against it because it could become a 10 minute thing but, it depends on how one interprets self-defense , pacifism or non-aggression. A very good example would be Ahimsa, which itself has been interpreted in numerous ways, such as being permitted to defend oneself against an armed attacker. You also have Aikido (itself influenced by Ahimsa), where you defend yourself but also (attempt to) prevent injuries to your attacker as well.

@@realdragon well you could do what real life people did which was basically to play healer or priest by joining the red cross medical corps or becoming an army clergymen. They were drafted but did not want to fight so they did not fight. A lot of logistics go into keeping an army marching and fed and they will always need truck drivers, or horse carriage drivers depending on the era. Basically during war you could and would do any job that did not put you in a combat situation.

@@captaincrazyhat That's sound advice however out of these options only healer is useful in combat. Logistics as fun as it sounds in actual combat you won't do much even when comes to support because you're a group

@@realdragon of course I was just using real world examples of what people did when they were drafted. I am sure someone far more creative then I could think of something better rather then falling back on historical references.
