Famicom Dojo and Homestar Runner ... Two things that fill my nostalgic little heart with joy ;;w;; I had no idea this is where the idea came from!! I always assumed that it was to rhyme with Strong Dad, and that's how we got Strong Bad, Strong Sad, and Strong Mad. I still like to believe that Strong Bad's face is actually just the Kenyan flag x3

Maybe we are not young enough? I mean young people have a lot more time to make content and engage in social media. We are both dads with non KZbin jobs. I really feel that had youtube been around a few years earlier Sean and I could have (maybe) become big. As it is though we are happy to continue making it for the people who have discovered us. @@FamicomVinnk I gotta admit, I think that just shows how passionate you two are with Famicom Dojo. Even with other stuff in your lives, and busy lives to boot, you guys still love making these classic videos. It really is the epitome of doing what you love because you want to rather than have to!! Famicom Dojo always holds a special place in my heart, and while I'd love to see you guys grow, the small, humble community is something I appreciate and treasure. Keep staying awesome, guys~!!

@@SeanOrange 2009, Pistols for Pandas. They were incentivizing costumes that year by offering a $20 gift certificate to their store, so I tried to keep mine cheap to see if I could turn a profit of sorts. It was just a baseball shirt, a sawed-off cap gun, a balaclava, and a mask I made by gluing a printout of the logo onto some cardboard. I'd suggest when filming a CRT, when editing use a noise removal tool, as the high pitch tone is a little annoying, and since the sound kind of moves around from left to right, duplicating the tone to make it stereo, so it isnt moving around so much, and mixing it down.
@FamicomDojo4 жыл бұрын
Wow, we’re sorry this is such a problem. We’ll see what we can do in the future; our best bet might be to use microphones that cut out those frequencies, because we don’t have editing tools that are this sophisticated.

"classic" but obviously far removed from anything close to modern standards. ANd the vidja games like the early arcades that are 60 years or older...ANCIENT And AWESOME :P

Sean, something to look into for future videos is high pitch frequencies. It might have been the TV, or something else. But your audio (and not Vink's) had a high pitched screech. If you can't hear it, you might beable to see it on an audio graph, and then... what's the word i'm looking.... basically trimming that frequency range out of the audio track.

I am really disappointed because I can't watch anymore of this bad acting because you I have a lot of great information in your video it's just presented in such a cringe-worthy way that it makes the video not fun to watch. So disappointed that you put the information in this way because I really would have liked to watch the rest of the video and seeing what you guys had to say if you were actually talking about it as yourselves and not trying to act which you can't do. I've never been more disappointed in a video in my life.
@omikronweapon2 ай бұрын
yeah, I can't stand this bad acting/deliberately cringe style very well either. Making good AVGN-esque videos takes more than just giving it the old college try. Most guys are probably better off just playing it straight. But even that isn't as easy as just talking. People don't realise that dudes like James Rolfe are actually trained in filmmaking and doing voiceovers. Maybe's there plenty of people that enjoy this level of campyness, but I'm not one of them.
