Like imagine Jokic with a Kyrie, shi would be borderline cheating 🤦♂️. Unfortunately Nuggets completely fckd themselfs. They are paying 3 superstars, while only having ONE. And since those other two are playing hot garbage for their worth, ain't nobody tryna trade for them. As things stand now, Jokic only hope is that Murray somehow can lock in or he not winning another championship. Their defense is really bad as well and this team don't shoot any threes. If they play a team like Boston who just need to have a decent shooting night for their standards, Denver is getting blown out by the 3rd. And Jokic is giving his team the most open looks already, but he can't shoot them for them as well 🤦♂️.

Sure he started slow and the shooting isn't ideal to put around jokic, but the two man game and playmaking has been more than impactful enough for that signing. for anybody who doesn’t know, including synthetic sports themselves because i’m guessing they also don’t know this. the reason the front office has had a dip was because tim connelly was the gm who built the nuggets championship team, in 2022 he left the nuggets which kinda sucks for him because he built a championship team but didn’t get to reap the rewards, anyways in 2022 he came to my wolves(and almost immediately built a contending team, ik he overpaid for rudy but the rudy trade worked better than anybody at the time could’ve imagined, also, he actually built that team with the specific purpose of beating that same nuggets team that he also built, which he succeeded in doing). after connelly left the nuggets, calvin booth took over, and basically since then he’s been making bad decision after bad decision and just giving out horrible contracts, not even making attempts to actually improve their team. he said once that he was relying on what were mostly late first round or second round rookies and other very young players(christian braun, zeke nnaji, peyton watson, julian strawther) at the time to produce for them in the playoffs right away, that was how he planned on building around the nuggets starting 5. that’s why this team is in the position it is in rn. thank you for listening to my gm rant and my tim connelly glaze. imo the best gm in the league, not saying we’re the best team in the league but this dude plays gm like it’s 2k myleague

Nuggets struggles all come down to the lack of bench scoring, a lack of defensive focus, and Jamal's struggles. Losing KCP was NOT a big deal as it turns out. Christian Braun is actually playing better than KCP did last year (15pts vs 10pts, 45% from 3 vs 42%), and he's playing good defense too and is a bigger defender. Have you even looked at what KCP is doing in Orlando? 40%-30%from 3, 8ppg! Worst since his rookie year! KCP wasn't even a traffic cone against ANT in the MN series, but Christian plays him fairly well due to greater size and strength. Jokic somehow is even better this year, Gordon is about the same, Michael Porter is better. And Russell Westbrook who is really working well with Jokic is an improvement from Reggie Jackson who was unplayable in the playoffs. But, Calvin Booth gave stupid contracts: Zeke Naji 4 yrs $32m and he's not even in the rotation? Jamal 4 years, $207m? He came into the season out of shape, and played 40 mpg so he of course, he has an Achilles strain. Porter is probably worth about what he's being paid $35m. If you want to trade for a 40% career 3pt scorer who averages around 20ppg then you will probably have to over-pay. AG $20m re-signing is great value. But, depending on Peyton Watson and Julian Strawther to be your 7th and 8th men on a championship roster is insane! And for the 5th straight year - no viable backup center (sorry Dario Saric you don't count!). They should fire Calvin Booth!

As a nuggets fan, they already won a championship. They didn’t fail anybody. Winning one is already almost impossible, anything after that is just sprinkles on the ice cream.

Yep because the criticism for Joker at the time was he had these MVPs but no title to show for it

8:11 I get Kyle “You just can’t be that team” Kuzma was out, I get half of their starting lineup and some bench guys were out…

And the thing is when you watch him you still see the fact that he would much rather not be a guy that has to take almost 20 shots a game for them to even have a chance, He is amazing he's a monolith of a player. He's arguably having the best offensive season ever, and now people are finally noticing what I noticed when they lost Bruce Brown. They needed those bench guys, Jamal Murray it's sad but it's kind of looks like he had his last gas as a great postseason player for the championship run, and mpj I just don't like him.

If that's the case then talk about the Nets not winning the title so that we can put that theory to the test. We will be waiting!

There must be SOMEONE who is considered a top 15 player that is just salivating playing with Jokic, and you want to tell me the front office can't entice one of them to play for them. Come on.

I am wondering if we are on the timeline where Jokic eventually gets tired with the Nuggets and decides to team up with Luka. I don't even care if it's on the Mavs or on another team, but I would love to see that!

it’s normal for teams to fail their superstars. Every superstars went through this. So don’t make a huge deal out of it for joker
