Hey steve i tried the Lidl Liberte spiced rum i really didn't like it, not saying its bad it is complex but i got way too much orange in fact it reminded me way too much of southern comfort which i od on when i was a kid and cant even smell it without feeling ill, i just kept getting hints of southern comfort, i prefer the cheap lidl dark rum for £10 with jamician ginger beer or coke fresh lime.

Great vid again Steve. Would jd Taylor's velvet falernum work well instead of the allspice Syrup?

Like for Like…No. totally different things. Falernum is a Lime and Almond Syrup/Liqueur with a subtle in of Spice. All Spice /Pimento Dram is from the All Spice/Pimento Berry. Proper Spicy. And normally not that sweet.
