@@TheUltimateVoid From what I understand EC3 didn’t say or do anything to get heat, they just had no real plan for him and Vince cooled off on him pretty quickly (there were also rumors Vince found his matches with Ambrose “boring” but who knows if there’s any truth to that). After awhile the lack of enthusiasm EC3 started showing on TV probably made Vince decide he “didn’t want it bad enough,” but even that’s on Vince because from the get-go he didn’t give EC3 anything to work with. How can anyone make being a mute Adonis who only shows up on TV to chase after the 24/7 title work to their advantage?

The whole thing wasn't EC3's fault and yet he got the worst end of the bargain.

I agree what you said, the problem with it is that nobody was asking for it, it's the biggest problem with WWE in the late 2010s as they felt that the roster was weak where in reality they had no idea what to do with their established roster, not saying that the established roster need to carry the company until it goes out of the business but when you debut more stars at the expense of the established roster without plans for them, the experiment is doom from the start.

As to what happened to the six since this video was uploaded: Lars retired from wrestling, Tucker was released, Otis turned heel, EC3 joined Ring of Honor, Nikki switched to a superhero gimmick, and I have no idea what Lacey is doing right now.

When I saw the title, I though it was the 5th season of the original NXT here, not... what happened to these poor people that deserved better, and Lars Sullivan.

Nice video, I forgot about this weird campaign. They showed vignettes for weeks while never coming up with a plan for ANY of them. Also, among Nikki’s accolades in NXT was her awesome Last Woman Standing match with Asuka. No one ever talks about that
