The original version, beautiful and mellow with a touch of church chorale on the background. The O'Jays always craft the songs perfectly. Thanks for posting this one!

Such great singers have now officially retired. Nobody had style like them. I'm glad nobody left to go solo but stayed together.

I have loved the O’Jays since the tender age of 6. I fell in love with with their artistry almost immediately. I have attended their concerts over the globe 🌎 for decades. Edie Levert by far is my favorite singer to ever walk the earth. No other artist can make me cry by the lyrics that they sing. I thank God that they’re still here moving crowds like their first concert. I’m always excited about when come to the Apollo. I’m guaranteed a phenomenal show.

How the heavens animate these men, that choir, Dylan's words in this nexus. What a blessing to have rediscovered it. Reminds of watching Whitney at the Superbowl or Pavarotti with the Three Tenors. Or any perfect human achievement. Borg at Wimbledon or reading the Gettysburg address, Dr. Salk his vaccine, or even getting Apollo 13 back. The Ojays elevate this music to another dimension in this work here.

Wow, thank you so much for posting this...i've always admired the O'Jays and i thought that their performance of this song at the Bob Dylan concert was the undoubted highlight of the show. As a non musician i have often wondered about the work that goes into producing a performance of such passion and precision and this video hints at the work that goes on behind the scenes and i found it fascinating. Thanks again...
