I have to wonder...When watching videos with black folks in it, do you talk about how black their dancing...For someone who isn't racist, race really was at the pit of most everything you commented about..Like you said... All those white folk are all just dancing carefree and having good fun doin it !!

They put out a call to the fans to send in videos of them dancing to Love Train (their version, there a ton of live versions out there), they got so many and used as many as they could, there were videos included from all over, one was from Brazil(dancing in front of the flag), Germany ( in front of flag they actually were on a couple times) England as well.

Hey! That baby had the moves tho! Lol! You can't deny that! It's true these guys are close with their fans. They are very humble. They stay and sign autographs after most of their shows, no matter how long the line is. Most stars would just leave. And no matter who you are, they talk to you, respect you no matter the color of your skin, the way that you talk, your age, height, or if you can or can't dance. That's why I love them so much. They have talent, but are also just all around good guys you would want to hang with.

I have heard others say that they asked people for videos of dancing, but they didn't say what song they were putting it to... So, these people weren't dancing to Love Train, it was just put to the video.. Thanks for your reaction.

Thank you for a genuine reaction! Music has the capability to reach across all boundaries! That’s the point! No matter what your background may be, this music can be enjoyed for what it is! All of us can unite in our joy and good feelings. Are there problems in the world? Yes, but there are worse places to start than here where we can enjoy good music, fellowship of a happy heart, and yes, love. I know it was sappy but it was truth, just like your reaction. Good stuff!

I think they asked for fan submissions, and it's just unfortunate that the responses they likely got were all white, and from the looks of things, mostly Southern. Clearly they wanted international, to fit with the song lyrics, at the very least, and had to settle for a few Germans, a Brazilian and some clog dancers.

Too bad that none of their black fans sent in dance videos, because it seemed to bother you. They are from Rural Minnesota, which has very few people of color. I know they would have used those videos.

If you want to hear a white guy with soul you really need to listen to Chris Stapleton sing I Was Wrong and Tennessee Whiskey. You'll be glad you did. I like that the guys in Home Free are happy to make fun of themselves. That really makes their videos fun and upbeat.

FYI... at the 4:27 mark of THIS video (as opposed to the group's vid), that "WHITE dancing" is actually really bad BLACK dancing from 1990 known as the "Kid 'n Play". Yes, it is 2 white guys executing in this vid. It doesn't look any better when Will Smith does it. No, I'm not mistaking Will Smith for 1 of the Kid 'n Play guys. But I have seen Will Smith dance that step. You can see it for yourselves on KZbin right here (at the 0:54 mark): kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIXTn2ZmhdKmbqs

You are awesome. I love your sleepy reviews. I get what you are saying about cultural music. The music is insane and this is just people having fun, you are right. White people are goofy when happy. I promise you if you had goofy danced into the middle of that video, you'd be famous now too

It’s called a different culture and it has nothing to do with being White and everything to do with Irish culture. You’d have to be educated to understand how their way of dancing came about. If there was an African dance and someone said that is the Blackest dance I’ve ever seen I bet you, you’d be offended and would think it was a racist comment.

I had to go back and look at the picture you saw that made you bring up Alaska! I have watched this video more than 50 times (my three-year-old grandson here - my husband and I live with our youngest daughter, her husband, and their seven children, on a hobby farm that we bought together in 2015 - LOVES this video; he loves TRAINS). Anyway...I had never noticed that the man had on a sweatshirt with Alaska emblazoned across the front! I'm not an Alaskan native, but we moved there when I was two. I lived in Valdez until I was just out of high school, then moved over SW of Anchorage, and then to Anchorage. I also spent time in several other places over the years. In 1978, I moved back to Valdez (after my divorce), and my mom and I then took my four kids and moved down to California to be near her sister and mom down in Huntington Beach. So Alaska is really special to me. I would move back in a second! If you get a chance, you can watch some of Home Free's live concerts up in Palmer, Alaska. They have been really great, and what you said about interacting...yes! The dancers in this video are all Patrons (or family/friends of Patrons) who support Home Free on Patreon. I am one, but at the time they asked for clips of Patrons dancing to something upbeat (anything...they hadn't yet released this song in any form, but they'd been doing it at the concerts...it's the last encore they do), I couldn't move much at all. I've since had both hips replaced, and now I'd do it at the snap of a finger! ;-) Anyway...once they got enough clips, those were edited to fit into the song. Isn't that cool? By the way...I always read through current comments when I watch the videos, and there was one lady who wrote this: "The video was good but not one person of color this does not seem like much of a "love train"" I wrote back: "The video was compiled from videos sent to Home Free from Patrons (people who support them on Patreon). If there had been some people of color among that group who sent in some "small clips of you dancing to upbeat songs," then there would be some in this video. To see some more of a cross-racial mix, you might want to check out this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bai6mq2OnqeDpaM One of the things that Home Free promotes, is that they love people, and that doesn't mean just one type--whether it's race or lifestyle. :-)" She replied: "Thank you for that information" I said to that: "You're very welcome. I hope you enjoyed the other video. :-) Also, I don't know if you've ever seen them live, but when we went, in May, the arena was packed with a TOTAL variety of adults, teens, kids, toddlers, black, white, yellow, tan, brown, and any other color skin you can think of. There were people there from all walks of life (we talked to quite a few), and even out in the waiting lines to get in, we had a blast, talking to and enthusing with people from all sorts of places and lifestyles. It was just great, and I know you'd really enjoy going to one of the concerts, if you never have yet. This is a group who really lives out what they say on stage, and in their videos, and generally speaking, home fries (us fans) do, too. Life is too short to life it out in hate of any kind. :-) HUGS!" Then someone else chimed in (not very accurately): "Actually the first or second fan video are of color." To which I replied: "I hadn't even noticed (since that's not what I was looking for), but after reading that, I started going through slowly (watching it at the 75% speed). at 0:16 there are two people; at 1:02 there are two; at 1:33, there are actually four; at 2:15 there's one; at 2:43 I think there's one; at 3:01 there's a definite possibility, and I think there's one at 3:03. :-) Also, there are bunches of blondes, some brunettes, someone with blue hair, a few redheads, some people in big homes, some outside, some with their dogs, some very young, some older, and a couple of rather aged people. In other words, I think they did their very best to get a great variety of the samplings sent them, into the video. Can you imagine how hard it must have been to synch all of that with the music? WOW! Great job, guys! :-)" I really enjoyed your reaction. Thank you. ;-)

●They asked fans 2 send dance vids lol - there are fans in *CHAMPAGNE TASTE ONA BEER BUDGET* & *SOLD* etc! ●All of Home Free grew up singing in churches (Austin's dad was in a tour- ing gospel group) + they all have ama- zing lead voices, but harmonies, tho!! ●Are master arrangers, songwriters & multi-instrumentalists (example- quiet beatboxer Adam plays trumpet, bass, guitar, piano/keys, harmonica +some drums)! ●They started out sou/pop b4 going more country-ish/soul/pop! ●Are the 1st country-ish a cappella band in the world + 2nd Most Viewed Vocal Band on UTube ●Despite still a cappella stigma in country radio, they have 5 Billboard Country Albums: #2,#2,#4,#8,#12! ●They tour globally, return to Europe /UK next few months! ●UTube Reactors are going to their concerts, lol! 😊
