I love the way that the number 5 has a lot of meaning in the SCP universe. In general the way it does a lot with numbers but to me the number 5 sticks out the most, such as SCP-092 aka "the absolute absolute absolute absolute best of the 5th dimension" doing anything to you that has to do with the number 5 when you listen to one of the idk 3000 instances or the way the highest clearance level you can have is 5 or the fifth church being a group of interest.

After being recently invested in the SCP universe, and more recently got involved with the Authority Structure, it is easy to interpret the Ethics Committee having more authority, but that isn't really it, it's Veto Power. Which, in respects to many different structures of power in government, its mainly a check and balance of power. The definition of veto translates to "I forbid" meaning having veto power means having the authority at the end sto say NO.
