I have been listening to the Boys way back before 1981 as a kid then getting to see them for the first time in 81 at the Iowa State Fair was the best day of my life. Richard helped me to develop my bass voice. Today I am 54 and still love singing along with them. Just wish Dewey would come back

The Oaks still has what it takes to get the job done. Most Quartets get better with age plus when the same 4 guys have been singing for 30 plus years. They only get better. Amen!

Yes I agree 50 plus years.The oak ridge boys have together for a long time. That's how they have perfected their voices. Singing gospel music especially southern gospel will make other music sound even better. Amen

At the risk of incurring the wrath of everyone who commented here, I must say that I love the Oakridge Boys, but it's so sad to see how they've all aged. All performers need to know when it's time to retire. As a fan since the 1980s, this is painful to watch. 😢

@@jeffclark7888t’s their choice if they want to retire and obviously they don’t want to yet. they said Dearing the pandemic it felt like they retired and they didn’t like that feeling. they’re all doing pretty good except Joe which had a blood clot and lost a lot of strength and he’s recovering from that and just to let you know, they’ve seen the comments and they are sad They wish people would keep it to their selves..
