I have just seen these in the flesh at The Oaks Koi Farm. Absolutely Amazing fish. Better than on camera. Paul is offering these at a fantastic price. If i hadn't already got an NMD one from Paul i would be deffo buying one of them. Anyone after one i would make the journey and go look.

Great video. Pattern just has to play a part for me. I'm going to be looking at it every day for the next 20 years and it just has to look pretty. A good body with a great pattern appeals more to me than an amazing body with an ugly unbalanced pattern. Most of us unheated struggle to grow koi much over 70cm, so a perfect body capable of jumbo might be somewhat wasted on people like me.

And... Being controversial, a perfect body with a perfect pattern costs a lot of money, and a year or 2 down the line it turns messy and you suspect it had probably been cut before leaving Japan.
