Both Ed from _Cracke_ and The Owl have a fair share of getting bodied by cartoon logic to the point of their bodies getting deformed, but the difference is that Ed managed to weaponized cartoon logic by using his body to somewhat succeed at something (protecting the eggs even at risk of costing his life) whilst The Owl tries to reach for his goal, but said logic goes against him that he never gets what he wanted (that being catching caterpillars).

My theory is that Cracké takes place in an alternate Australia instead of Africa where the Marsupials didn’t migrate to Australia via Antarctica from South America and weren’t the dominant animal there but the dominion animal where instead the Momotremes ( the one that includes the platypus and 4 species of echidna. ) and they became Terrestrial causing them to evolve into rhino like animals and the reason why the rhinos lay eggs in the show because Momotremes are the only mammals that lay eggs. Ed’s species would have been Dromornithids an extinct clade of large flightless birds endemic to Australia and the crocodiles could be Saltwater crocodiles because Australia is associated with crocodiles and its largest non-mammalian predator is the saltwater crocodile.
