Of course, it is not even innovative. It is good , but nothing pioneering. Punk elements (punk existed for many years) Black Sabbath doomy elements, Saint Vitus 1st LP was released in 1984, Trouble 1st LP also in 1984, Tank and AngelWitch had made LPs several years before. Even Medieval (the USA band ) has released demos from 1983 and 1984. Also Exciter seems to have influenced those guys, for example the song Pounding Metal form 1984 (2nd LP of Exciter) has certainly influenced the 23:28

@@georgiosdoumas2446The Obsessed started almost 10 years before Saint Vitus was formed. The first demo is from 1980. The only others I know earlier would be Pentagram and Black Sabbath.

@@scottoleson1997 2 years technically. Vitus was named Tyrant at the time until 1980-81 I believe.
