despite beeing a big the ocean fan, I also think Loic isn't such a great singer. I like his mellow calm voice when singing the softer parts, there's a lot of soul in his voice. I kinda dislike his shouts/growls, they are very one dimensional compared to other extreme singers. What Loic always delivers is furious stage presence, you got to give him that. Loved The Ocean back in the day when there were many different guest singers on the albums and vocal tandems on stage, like Mike Pilat and Nico Webers who complemented each other perfectly.

This venue did Loic dirty by having the crowd so far away from the stage. The guy loves to stagedive. He did it like 5 times in a tiny concert hall in Portland, OR.
