Team OD, This is the best car comparo I have seen to date. It was funny, enjoyable throughout and really lifted the curtain of the most important yet totally forgotten things. Kudos !! Pl do the same for Sedans too. Eagerly waiting. Also do include Infotainment (Navigation experience, music quality, voice calling ease and quality) and air conditioning at both front and the rear. Is that really Honda, Hyundai and Maruti would always produce better cars for decades or is it the automobile medias always project them as the better cars. I have been noticing for years that how good the Ford or VW or Fiat cars are but still i can always see the cars from these three manufacturers will top the list. I have driven earlier version i20 and honestly i have never seen such a under powered petrol hatch with poor suspension lethargic steering but still these media ppl have claimed it as no 1 premium hatch. And the trend keep continuing again and again. I am really not sure!

Seems like you didn't get the motive of the tests conducted. They also mentioned at the beginning of the video that some of the cars are missing this test because either they were about to get an update or some aren't provided by their respective manufacturers, therefore no VW or a FIAT car.. Yes VW, Fiat like you aforementioned make great cars no doubt about i,t but they couldn't cope up with the after sales service that Maruti, Hyundai or Honda provides. Also they haven't got a good dealership network across the country. Moreover we had only one dealership of VW at ASSAM which too got closed down last August and people here are facing major setbacks coz the couldn't get their cars serviced by an authorised service centre. VW aren't answering customer's queries properly.

I say this is a good test, true, The Figo didnt top the list and its true ,Ford could have topped the list with simple features like parking sensors, a larger ORVM,better brakes and brighter headlights , but U saw how strong Ford was in dynamic tests, so it shows that this test is what Indians desire and thats why I too believe Jazz is easily the best hatch back in our country, But the point is if we factor the price to points ratio in this test, it will be either the Figo or the Baleno that will be topping the test

VW is the biggest car maker in the world (after Toyota). They don't need promotion by Indian media. Suzuki is a cycle manufacturer compared to them. I have a Baleno btw and its a superb car. Fiat is lethargic in India and they aren't doing great worldwide for a long time now. Honda is a delusional brand thinking they are white-skinned premium dope for us. Everything from them is low value. Honda cars aren't even that well built. (Well built doesn't mean soft interior plastics.) Bad unrefined diesel engines. Weak petrol engines. No innovation. No features. Fuck Honda. What's crappy is that Renault being a frontline car maker sells us poor quality shitty boxes to us. I am waiting for Peugeot.

Really an excellent video , good job 👏🏻 though , but all what I wonder is, in the overall score for the entry level hatchbacks 🚗, you guys have said alto800 the family car will be top on the list with 56.43 , but why was nano 2nd on the list with 65.29? Is that mistakenly spoken as alto 800 or is that mistakenly given 56.43 instead of giving that too nano? I was confused on this! I've tested all these premium hatchbacks + VW polo(which seems surprisingly missing here). Undoubtedly the Honda Jazz really stands out from all these premium hatchbacks, infact it created all new benchmark for the premium hatch segment. Space, comfort, well built and real fun to drive...

A very nice test which is more important than reviews, Nice funny informative and pretty useful. The Lighting test could be slightly improvised. The rear Fog lamps throw and the arrangement which will help you park @ night better, The help of Following home illumination ( puddle lamps etc), the real corner illumination that helps avoid dividers and potholes in real driving situation ( efficiency of fogs and the reflection orientation which help to improve visibility of corner's too etc. Appreciable review by overdrive. The gearbox of each cars clutch action etc could also be added if it won't make the scoring system cluttered.

Excellent test OVERDRIVE... I agree with most of these tests as its being done on practicality.. Unlike other sites which tests the obvious things. I myself use Honda Jazz i-DTec and agree with results.

In headlights test only baleno have projector lamp so its not spread as normal headlights...so in this case baleno also get maximum score with Normal headlights model.... Friends its right or wrong

Sumat Sethi Lol! That will render them out of business if they speak about sturdiness and safety etc. I believe Tiago will win hands down in terms to sturdy build quality. Figo for active safety features and again Tiago for ride and Figo for handling.
