Hello The Odd Job Do'er here and in today's video i am reviewing a Cookbook from 1961.. a bit old and classic with recipes using raw eggs!!!! this one does not though. this is a pie for Christmas. i was feeling pumpkin pie but also cheese cake but then sour cream pie and well with using this cookbook and the power of two different recipes kind of combined i made a pie for the holiday! this pie has a crust either from the store premade or make one. then 1 cup sour cream, 1 cup canned pumpkin, 1/2 table spoon corn starch, 2 table spoons milk, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 2 table spoons granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon All Spice, 1/4 teaspoon ginger, 3/4 cup pecans, and 2 eggs. i baked it at 350 degrees and kept checking it for about 40 minus or so. in the end it was different some might want more sweetness to it but not that bad of an end result at all. as for the book it can still be found at this time for anywhere from $1 to $15 or so.
if you have any questions put them down and Merry Christmas and Happy holidays and Thank you for watching!!!
