The Odessa Catacombs

Just finished reading Tregebov's 'The Knife Sharpener's Bell' and could not imagine what life was like in hiding. These pictures are very helpful.

I live 2 hours from Odessa, Texas and when I saw this I was like "Fuck yeah!" and drove to Odessa. Everyone looked at me like I was nuts when I asked them where the catacombs where. I finally gave up and left. When I got home I was gonna post about not finding them and thats when I realized they where in Ukraine. This is one of those mistakes that haunts you for a lifetime ._.

I think Eastern Europe is an amazing place to head if you are looking for a real adventure. Alcohol is cheap, people like to party and the music is intoxicating! Backpacking across Ukraine and Russia sounds like an amazing vacation, and it's a lot cheaper than Western Europe.

no it is not, you would most likely never find it, people have put stuff there and those things are still missing today

@@abhilaashjha1933 oh for sure, even in small locations you can hide stuff very well if you get creative. Also never been better, and ya man 9 years ago I posted that comment! I was 15 back then!
