ok, seriously now, I don't understand the Pam hate Pam has a deep relationship with all the main characters, has great character growth and Jenna acts frighteningly well Pam's personality is focused on the past, which is why she always stays where she is, and rarely takes risks, like breaking up with Roy or trying to become an artist, she stays in that bad relationship because it's the only thing that she knows, and she is obviously denying her feelings for Jim, precisely because she has been with Roy for years (remembering that he is her first and only boyfriend) Her character growth is about being more courageous and honest about her feelings Pam from the first season would never follow Michael to another company, nor take a position for herself, or talk about her feelings in public Pam learned to take risks, and not just sit around waiting for things to happen and get better, she is an incredible character

And there are moments when every last one of the show's characters does horrible things, which I can understand cross the line for some in certain instances but not for others.

I love Pam. she is my favorite in the show. she is the most compassionate person in the show. She has more emotional intelligence than the rest of them. She understands people very well.She helps. I love how she became strong from being a shy girl in the beginning to going after what she wants. Roy is cruel to pam in many situations, that is the biggest reason for her low confidence. With Jim she became strong. She has great friendship with Dwight, Michael. People who comment Pam is toxic, really failed to see her character growth. I love her.

I absolutely loved Pam during the first half of the show, but once she started losing her innocence (such as lying about being office administrator) and started getting cocky at times, I just wasn't rooting for her as much. Especially, her animosity towards Ryan, while he seemed to settle down with his insults toward her toward the last few seasons, really annoyed me. Yeah, Ryan was a loser, crazy, not reliable, and a liar, but he got to the point where he didn't try to hide it, and Pam just started to seem a little self-entitled or self-righteous, acting like she had no flaws whatsoever. Yeah, I will probably get a lot of criticism for what I say. Oh, well.

Pam became more assertive, leading to their initial break up, which taught Roy to value what he has. There was no way they were getting back together after the second time because of Pam’s infidelity and Roy’s anger issues (an infidelity does warrant an emotional response, but not trashing the bar). Roy learned to control his emotions/actions and was a better man by the time he met his wife. Their relationship was something that they had to experience to mature and it could even be argued that Pam was the one to take the first step in the right direction.

There are great men and sometimes a woman just happens to be somewhere and other women loop around until the position of the woman seems to be behind the man. 2) Pam was a failure with Roy and needed to change. She got dumped after stepping out and that helped her be more assertive, which led her to fail as an artist, office manager, salesman, and almost wife too. Luckily successful jim fell in her claws so she can position herself behind him and his success. Also, she knew him before he made bank and roy became even richer than jim, so she can deflect the goldigging accusations, and also he is the one with whom she cheated on her first partner, so she can say that "iT wAs MeAnT tO bE".

Roy did become a great man, but his wife was also a great woman. She was a business owner and helped him step it up to the point where he started his own. He became a better man for *her*, which is something he says at their wedding. I don’t know what you’re talking about with the gold digger part. I don’t remember Pam ever being a gold digger. If anything, Angela was. Pam’s flaw is that she is a quitter, insecure, and isn’t a risk taker, which she somewhat grows out of. Pam never actually gets dumped either, she is the one that ends both relationships with Roy. I was wrong about her calling off the wedding because she became more assertive (she did it because of Jim), but it is something that happens prior to the second break up (this is because she overhears Gil and Oscar talking about her motel art). Jim didn’t fall into her claws. They were friends that fell in love, and this is proven countless times in the show. They were already married when Jim became a partner at athlead, so their relationship had nothing to do with money. They married because they were in love with each other. They did struggle because of athlead, but it was understandable because they were both doing two jobs (athlead and salesman vs office administrator and mother of two young kids)

I'm not even so sure about Jim. He was often awful to Dwight, toeing the line to bullying, and he was also kinda unfair towards Pam in the last seasons. Acting like she was holding him back from going after his dreams while she was working and taking care of two toddlers was a low blow, given how she was the girl of his dreams and the love of his life.
