I have never seen Jack Weston look so young and, being British, have never seen Gene Wilder on a TV show. I know all of his films but I have never seen any of his TV before this. I may take a look at more of his TV work, so thanks for the inspiration.

I loved this! Classic Gene! Thank you for posting this gem! Not sure if this was done in one take but it appears to be as there seems to be a few times where both Gene and Jack look like they are about to break up. Gene Wilder was America's greatest comic actor.

Wow. Absolutely hilarious, as is everything Wilder did. This clip made me realize what a travesty it is that Gene never hosted SNL back in the 70s. Probably would have been one of the most iconic episodes of the whole show to see him up there with Bill Murray and of course Gilda.
