Great analysis and I could not agree more! It’s pointless to argue which is better than the other, as they are both so much their own thing and both achieve greatness in their own style of comedy. I love both too, though I’ve rewatched the US version more for the reasons you pointed out.

I really like how you legitimately reviewed the UK version, it really doesn't get enough credit since most people who compare them on the internet are from the US, and have the attention span of a squirrel on coke.

@@SpicyHobbit03 No, you're sad because you instantly identified yourself as a part of the herd, instead of an individual. That's what I found pathetic. Instead of wondering why so many people from all across the world see Americans as ignorant, you automatically became defensive. The sad part is that you do subconsciously understand that, otherwise you wouldn't be so angry. And just in case *you* didn't understand, I don't think that all Americans are ignorant. I also highly doubt that the OP does either, he was obviously referring to the American fans of the show, who refuse to recognise the UK original, without which the US version wouldn't exist. Yeah, he could have expressed himself better, but his point isn't entirely inaccurate. If you took a few extra minutes to think about it, instead of getting offended, you would have realised it too.

Wouldn't it have been better to just show samples of both, us and uk WITHOUT any sort of review... Then AFTER the scenes, THEN give your review? Thus, giving us the ability to judge which one was actually better? Sorry bro, switched off cuz too much review talking and not letting us ultimately decide which one was actually better.
