I’m blown away by Tonya. It’s so sad how crazy she is and it’s a good insight into why people should not have exotic animals.

That was an incredible reveal. I was NOT surprised, but I WAS shocked. I just don't understand how they moved him.

I'm not mad at Travis,he's a wild animal. Should not be housed like a human. He missed his Dad terribly, could no longer go out,and who knows what else he endured. God bless your soul Travis, may he rest in peace❤

The real villain was the 911 operator. The call would been horrifying enough to listen to due to the level of brutality, but his performance was so frustratingly incompetent that it made the recording literally painful to hear

These freaks should not be allowed to have chimps as pets. Chimps are wild animals. They will act like wild animals. Leave them alone in the wild. This Tanya person is pure evil.

The show did a fantastic job about explaining what led up to Travis having such a break down. It was never his fault. Ever. And the show did a good job of explaining that I thought! He should have never been captive first of all, but then he also began to be neglected. It was just a recipe for disaster for everyone involved. And I had never heard the story told in such detail. So that was great

If hidden cameras were set up to obtain footage of the chimps removal, then I find it hard to believe that Tonia removing Tonka was not seen. Which would explain why Tonia wouldn’t hesitate to let cameras see Tonka hidden in her basement.

They set it up 18 hours before removal I'm willing to bet that Tonia was smart enough to remove tonka at least a few days before the removal day since the date was like a week after the court hearing. If not Tonia then Connie.

That’s hilarious that the guy who made this documentary by hiring a proxy faux director is questioning whether PETA hiring undercover people to do the EXACT SAME THING is ethical. 🙄

Moral of the story is regardless of if its good or bad regulation kills buiness.

There’s a strange dissociation the filmmakers/author has to the plight of these animals, and I think it could be because they’ve never been caged and treated like a child indefinitely themselves. The dynamic Tonya and the other chimp women have with their chimps is a common one between narcissistic, overbearing, controlling mothers (the “devouring mother” archetype it’s often called) and their daughters. I know it was seeing yet another Elmo toy that triggered Travis into his rage because it’s these insulting gestures of “I am the superior mother who ‘cares’ about you but doesn’t see or respect you as an individual with your own needs. You don’t need freedom, you need this cute toy.” They have ZERO dignity in the face of power for YEARS on end. That woman whose face he ate suffered a fate worse than death because of KARMA and not because she was “unfortunate collateral.”

Why didn’t PETA request to see the ashes of Tonya? If they would have had them checked out that would have stopped that story right then and there.

weird to be saying you "feel" for people that keep wild animals as pets as if they're the victims.. they have complete disregard for the animal's well being as well as the well being of other humans when they bring these dangerous animals to cities. but then this show was made for attention not because you care about animals.
