I skated mostly the puffy 90s stuff when I was younger because that was popular at the time and what skate shops had. As far as Emerica goes I didn't skate the MJ 1s but I did skate the Reynolds 1 quite a bit and liked it a lot

I do like the look of them but times have changed and I don't see my self wearing them. I did have many tilts back in the day and loved them. I want them to remake the ellingtons.

They do have a bit more padding than the original but they still look really skateable, hopefully they'll slim them down in future so they look more true to the MJ.

I put the g6 insoles in, these shoes are bulletproof. To be honest these shoes were thin, they are not too poofy they are just wide. It’s like a medium shoe compared to the penny 2s, those are diesel. These are the best comeback shoes in my opinion, definitely plenty of boardfeel in these.

Because I only do ollies, it's funny to hear you say after it wears a month from now. I have 8 pairs of skate shoes that I've skated over the LAST 6 YEARS_none of them have any holes or rips AT ALL. the tread is still good on all of them, still skate all 8 pairs🤣

Like emerica doesn't already have enough slim shapes. Spray on spankys, leotard tight Romero's. Fuggin' tight triangular Figgy's. That's fine for you S+M lot. You love heel bruises and nail loss. I for one care less for them I don't want podiatrist appointments twice a year. Or admiring side-eye glances from Harry Potter fans. Hip-hop might have transitioned back to some 70/80's glam era with MFs out here looking like Elton john and melle mel had kids... You know, some of us have ADHD and still enjoy loose fit baggies and EPMD, y'all be trippin'... We asked for fat shoes... we just got 'em back and now you wanna slim the shit down!? They’ve absolutely evolved. Most shoes are made with suede. Not canvas, they have protection where it’s needed instead of where it’s not. They don’t look ridiculous anymore, and they’ve mastered board feel giving you an easier flick. But hey, to each their own. Some people love those big shoes.
