I've been labbing this for months and it seems like the entry is everything, it's not a big deal to get the position and flex your lat. The issue is the entry, where it's easy enough to not get the corated artery with the lat. So low key this video is fire btw, to finish the choke you just take the uppercut grip shown, and keeping everything tight by squeezing your lat, you go 10 finger grip with the other hand, then triangle the legs - key to finishing mechanics is squeezing with the lat while keeping elbow to knee connection, also stay on your side as much as possible
