Just goes to show that you don't need these fancy setups to have koi. Some lovely koi and a great selection. Like the idea of how simply you built it,did you render it before the G4?as it's still readily available, although I am looking at the rubber paint on liners. Seems to be an upgrade on the G4. I'm surprised you left without the Danichi?😂

Yeah when originally built it was rendered and then just coats of G4 applied. It's stood the test of time over the last 20+ years. Ha ha I was like his personal koi shopping assistant yesterday. At least I get to play with the big boy fish an pretend I'm part of the circle 🤣 I tried a rubber paint on in my old pond and could not get it to seal every where was a nightmare. However that was alot to do with my poor rendering at the time .

Yeah I did consider it, however i decided it wasn't worth the earful I'd get for fiddling 🤣🤣. Yeah he likes it, he refers to it as the fish Ritz. Heat and saki hikari!!🤣🤣

It's probably a key bit I should have shared🤣. It's pump fed and gravity return. Has a very small strainer type seive before the pump to catch any huge bits. And protect the pump.
