Roger actually lost to Robredo during the US 2013, whereas this match is from Cincinnati 2014. 2014 was also the year that Sir Andy broke Tommy's heart during the Valencia final, saving 5 match points in the process.

Yes there’s a clear one. Nole had to face roger, nadal, Murray, del potro, wawrinka, berydch, nishikori all constantly before 2018, after 2018 his main rivals are all inferior to the monsters selection of players he faced prior to

Half of slams, not majority. 10 masters (33% is not a majority). 2 ATP Finals (28% is not a majority). Also from 2018 to 2020 he had Nadal, Federer and Thiem (where he won 5 slams so I guess these 3 suck somehow). From 2021 to 2023 he had Medvedev and Alcaraz (both slam winners so I guess they suck like Roddick and Del Potro). And he also had Tsitsipas and Zverev (both have more finals then Philippussis, Baghdatis, Gonzales - so I guess they suck even more than Federer's rivals). He won 7 slams then, more than Roger won before Nadal entered his era.

It's not shocking to me that's Tommy friggin Robredo we're talking about, he could go toe to toe with any number 1 in his prime, he just had a great game, pushed his older body, and Djokovic didn't have the best day, simple as that.

@gleko75 3 күн бұрын
@@Mythos189Absolutely true, hands down. Costed us Nole fans much salt, but not in terms of crying, more in sweating, which more often paid off than id did not. A real salt case for Fedal fans for example was Wimbledon 2019....still, with all that salt, just take your time, put on some objectiveness and start reading all of his records, salt or not salt, that again doesn't matter. That doesn't work that way that the records say "many of those records achieved with lots of salt, sweat, luck, fate" whatever...I am just talking about straight facts, you can not argue with that...I mean you can, but it is not relevant if you catch my drift 😂

@@gleko75 doesn't matter he wasn't a 24 time slam champion in a strong era. It took Roger to get to 35, nadal not exactly the greatest on the hard courts. Other than that Novax u could call if he was against the vax, but he isnt, he wants for everyone to have a choice whether u take it or not, btw u dont even need it anymore so u are probably mad that u had to take it. Goat doesnt really exist, for someone goat is Novak, for someone its Federer for someone its Nadal. Its personal preference after all as there is no title for greatest player of all time. All we can judge by are big statistics like majors, master 1000 and number 1 weeks where Novak is 1st. Stay mad btw
