I think Jason said it best with "the buttons make up for it". I'm not one to gloat, but I still can't believe I got to film this right before its first mod. At the time, I was completely star-struck. My biggest regret was that I only filmed this and the elevators at Calhoun Hall, but not the historic ones in the stacks.

So I found one of those types of custom "college" buttons at the University of Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, an hour west of Birmingham off of I-20/59. That is Innovation Bruiser correct? So in my reference, those buttons has the Crimson Tide "A" on it in red color. So is that custom Innovation? When I post my video on it, should I call it custom Innovation Bruiser?

Not so modded - Haven't they add some recorded spoken floor announcements? I have two such elevators at home in Poland. "Ground floor! Exit from the building!", "Floor 1!", "Floor 2!", "Floor 3!" up to 10, despite the whole condo in which I own a small apartment, is in fact a slightly face-lifted old and crappy concrete slum built during the Communist rule. Before the admins of the house have modernized those elevators in my building (shortly after Poland had joined the EU) there had been single mechanical doors with a simple electric circuit blockade, and an uppercase stencil on the doors: BEFORE ENTERING PLEASE CHECK UP IF THE DECK IS BEHIND THE DOOR to which a smart neighbor added his one print: AND IF THE ROPE HOLDS ;) They gave finally two new ones and made the whole condo a new facade, but inside it is still as crappy as it was! Nevertheless the apartment has got much bigger market value than it would have otherwise, because the building happens to be located next to a busy street crossing close to the city center and a railway station, between several shopping malls and a new office district and they built a few additional high-rise residential houses next to it. If I sold it, I would buy a much bigger and beautiful house in the suburbs instead, however the maintenance costs are much cheaper here and no need to buy a car.
