I had some big antique canning jars with small necks on my porch that I used to hold birdseed, one time I forgot to put the lid back on, and it still had food inside. Next day there was a very fat, very dead ground squirrel inside. It got inside easy enough, but ate so much it couldn't fit through the small hole again. I double-check that I put the lid back on now.😔
