Wish you did all my youtube videos. Low key, aesthetic, good pacing, nice shots, informative. Thank you!

thanks for this review. I have wanted this lens for some time. In my "old days" of shooting portraits with film, Nikon's 105mm, and Hasselblad's 150mm were my standby's. But, when shooting outdoors/landscapes, one of my favorite Nikkor lenses was the 20mm. When I added the Hasselblad to my studio, I loved the 40mm, and a 75mm on my 4x5 Wisner Field camera. Now that I am retired. I have replaced everything with a Fujifilm X-Pro2. I have bought and sold and repurchased a few lenses along the way. Currently, my kit includes a 16mm/f2.8, 23mm/f2, and a 35mmf2. But I think I could use the 14mm for a bit wider view. Thanks, again. BTW, just because the 14mm is not WR (weather resistant) does not deter me.

Small, light and sharp. What’s not to like? I’ve had it since for more 10 years. Not my most used lens, but that’s because I generally shoot tighter focal lengths. Great lens!

I'm a long time fan of of 20/21mm lenses- and this 14mm equivalent is exceptional in performance, and can now be had Used for an equally exceptional price! It's sharp, well corrected all around and the image quality is a joy to behold! Yes, aperture ring way too soft, hate the supplied lens shade (bought a circular, metal 3rd party)- but the results cannot be denied!

This is a lens I regret getting rid of. Super sharp, great image quality, and lightweight. I didn't use it much because of the focal length, but when I look back at photos I took with it I miss it.

I bought one, sold one, bought one again and I love it. ¨21" mm is my preferred length

Insane to see used prices so low and that's one reason I don't plan on selling it: Low resell value and it is a good lens to have. I started with the 16mm f/2.8 which was good, but I wanted something faster. Found the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 for a very good price. Enjoyed that lens but it was big! Sold it, got the 14mm instead. I thought 16mm was wide, but damn! This lens is hard to use and I wanted it for some nature shots, but never found the proper chances. I need to try this lens more because it is an insane lens. The fact that everything is corrected within the lens and not by Software really speaks for the lens. No optical errors, but straight lines and so on. The retail price is too high, but I understand why it is an expensive lens.

I’ve had this lens since it came out. Don’t use it loads but I’d never part with it. It’s a nice size on my pro2

I’m with you on this lens being too wide to be a much use, except for specialized subjects like the redwoods! I find that when doing street photography a lot of photographers seem to be only focused on the wide side, when there’s a lot to be said for getting closer to your subject.

16mm 2.8 is way to hard on distortion if we are talking about video, it doesn't get corrected. 14mm should be distortion free afaik
