Thanks Dan for sharing and doing this excellent review. The last 30 something years we've lived in Monterey Park, we had never tried Mandarin Noodle House. Yeah really shame on us! Due to the pandemic, we want to support our local restaurants. Mandarin Noodle House does not disappoint. It has the BEST comfort food in Monterey Park. Like Danny and Danny said, the beef stew noodle soup is highly recommended. I'm completely stoked the first time I ordered it. It's like a mate you've been searching for all your life. Little did you know serendipity is just around the corner half a block by your house and you wonder what just hit you?!! Seriously, the broth is insanely delicious. The beef is juicy and tender. The homemade noodles made the whole experience even more magical. Whatever secret sauce they use to make it savory, it'll make you want to come back again and again. Also, love the pork chop, dumplings and pickled cucumber salad. Everything in their menu is a must try. Prices are reasonable. Shout out to my neighbor Danny (the owner)...you rock buddy!

My family frequents the Mandarin Noodle House whenever we go to LA to visit my younger brother. We also order the beef noodle soup, pan fried pork dumplings, and scallion pancakes, along with other staples. I don't know if they comped your food, but just wanted to mention that it is a cash only establishment, like Sam Woo. Another awesome video Dan. I'm going to have my dad watch it too.

Just went there the other day after watching your video. To think that I passed by this place for over 40 years and I just tried it now. I definitely will ad this to my go to lost. Cool video!!! 👍 ***If you want a another place that you want advise to go to, I recommend "The Conjee" on Valley and Garfield, in the city of Alhambra. It has a very small menu limited to egg noodle soups, lo mein, congee, and appetizers like chinese chicken wings and pot stickers. Make sure to try the shrimp wonton in your soups or lo mein. Cool place to get an awesome quick yet satisfying meal.
