the sermon is perfect timing. Just yesterday I tried to get the gospel to this guy. I asked him what he trusted in for salvation he said putting his faith on Jesus and keeping his Commandments. I tried to explain him it was all by Faith No works. after the second try I was done. Thank you Pastor for this sermon.

Very rare to find someone preaching on KZbin who believes in neither Calvinism nor Dispensationalism. Thank you.

I agree with you that the sect of the Pharisees mentioned in Acts 15:5 were probably saved. Here's how I read that section. Notice in verse 1 that the "certain men...from Judaea" taught that, without circumcision, a person cannot be saved. However, for the sect of the Pharisees in verse 5, they said that circumcision and keeping the law was "needful"; but it doesn't explicitly say that they taught that it was needed to be saved. The way I read it is this. The people in verse 1 were probably unsaved and were teaching a works-based gospel. The sect of believing Pharisees heard their teaching and probably thought something like "uh, yeah, this is familiar to us and sounds right; so yeah, I guess we should keep the law even after Christ". In other words, the sect of the Pharisees were "caught up with every wind of doctrine" and just needed someone to correct them.

"Maybe they're not heretics, maybe they're just complete idiots." LOL
