The oldest Quran Recitation Recorded Surah Duha

The oldest recorded voice of Quran's recitation in Makkah (close to year 1885 ) the recording date is not very accurate but it is possibly between 1885 and 1900.

Dear brothers and sisters! The date of the recording may not be accurate, it could be close to the mentioned date. But based on the data from various sites it is the first recording of Quran Kareem. I am pretty sure that every believing heart is touched by it. May Allah SWT bless the reciter with Jannah and may Allah SWT guide us and forgive us.

It's wrong to say it's a dying breed. There are still a lot of people who recite correctly. There are some popular reciters who neglect some rules but correct reciters are no where near dying.

You seem to misunderstand my comment the way this reciter here is reciting is unique and something the qaris of older generations such as Abdulbasit used to slow and emphasis on the Idgham reciters of the newer generations when focusing on the melodic bit of the Quran tend to neglect going slower and putting emphasis on the idgham and ikhfa this is not saying the current reciters are wrong for reading that way there is NOTHING wrong with what they are doing they are still reading the Quran correctly and not getting any shaqals wrong so they aren’t changing the meaning.

So this is the difference of the newer generations and older generations of qaris there’s more focus on the tajweed rules in the older generations compared to newer. And what I meant by a dying breed was that the number of people who recite this way are not that much common due to maybe a lack of noterity of them MY COMMENT DOESNT DISMISS THAT THERE ARE PEOPLE OF THE NEW GENERATION THAT RECITE IS JUST ISNT THAT COMMON

It is narrated by Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, nothing will stand between him and entering Paradise except death." This hadith has been graded as Hasan (good) by some scholars, including: Imam Ibn Hibban: Included this hadith in his Sahih collection. Sheikh Al-Albani: Classified this hadith as Hasan in his checking of Sunan an-Nasa'i.

And if you look at other modern religions, their books they follow from just a few decades ago will be so different to their original and modern versions books. But Quran, 100 years or 1000 years, still remains same and wil always remain same no matter what anyone does. Because Islam doesn't accept dumb logic reasoning to then change your religion, because Allah told us to follow this religion how it is. Many who tey change it end up leaving Islam, thats what happens when you challenge Allah.
