Wonderfully and clearly explained. The more I learn the bigger I want to go! Such an amazing product I have yet to find anything I usually sculpt in other materials (other than tiny) that can't be done quicker and as well in Pal Tiya Premium

Is there a maximum thickness that should be added? Do you ever use multiple scratch coat layers for example?
@PalTiya
@PalTiya Жыл бұрын
You only require one scratch coat and only if your sculptures are of a certain height. Have a look on this page for more info :) www.paltiya.com/getstarted.html specifically they planning and sculpting pages

If you're doing a house, how do you handle the windows and doors. Do you cut them out ahead of time or after?
@PalTiya
@PalTiya 2 жыл бұрын
Ahead of time. Our product is so strong once it has cured that it would be extremely difficult without power tools to grind out doors and windows. We've popped a couple of links to video's and a playlist that will help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHbapml7aZyta9k & kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3S4lIuul8d6hK8&t

Great video! Thank you! Answered several of my questions! So if you do not remove the tin foil from under the sculpture ( such as cute ember sculpt) is there any issues with that later? or do you want to remove it or put a coat of pal tiya on that as well to have a flat bottom or enclosed bottom? And connecting a sculpture armature to a pallet is that just attachment points (I looked at the large dragon video and saw wires or something out of the pallet?) in these smaller ones you had holes for armature to fit into...SO do you then attach armature by coating the lower armature into the base? is the base left with etchings initially??
@PalTiya
@PalTiya 4 жыл бұрын
Shamelessly Creative thanks for your comment. You don’t have to coat it, it will eventually just disintegrate inside over time. Of course you can if you want but it’s not necessary. You can attach to the pallet. We did this with the dragon because she had some rebar in her legs and so the wires were the connecting point to this and the tinfoil. If your sculpture is going to be climbed on then we advise attaching it to the pallet yeah. Hope that helps

We use this one which is pretty awesome but pricey but lasts for ages: amzn.to/2TK0uQk but anything high melt works a treat. :)
