You want to know something? I'm subbed to almost every other narrator on KZbin and I notice a real trend: hardly anyone else is tackling the long stories any more. I can perfectly understand why: it tales a huge amount of time to put together something like what I've made here and I'll never judge other channels for not doing hour-long stories. It is, nonetheless, a real joy to narrate a story that you can really get your teeth into, like tonight's tale.
So, on to tonight's story. Well, this really is a weird one. However you think it's going to go after listening to the first half of it, I'm almost sure you'll be wrong in your assumption. This will surprise you as much as it might infuriate you. It will ask questions that it doesn't adequately answer; be ready to fill in the gaps in what you think happens and how it will end accordingly.
All I ask is, as ever, that you sit back, relax, and enjoy the story! See you all again on Monday...
Oh, and a big shout out to Creep Street, whose incredible Dr. Creepen makeup you'll see right at the end of the vid. Check out her channel:

Dr. Creepen Wow. Another what the FUCK did I just listen to? Very smooth Doc.....I had to go back quite a few times as I wasn't really hearing the words...well not comprehending them. But when I finally settled down I still didn't have a good grasp. Jeez! Very long and very full of creepy spooky nasty shit! Thanks Dr. C. You never disappoint. Btw-that is pretty ghoulish makeup at the end. Glad you told us. I was wandering around by then or I'd have missed it.😻😈👹

Therory: I think the altar was used for an ritual where a person is killed to prevent an entity from coming free. By him refusing to die the ritual failed and the entity get free, destroying everything that was set up to seal it away, including the man that was chosen to perform the ritual. I also think the black dressed man was that entity, disguised as a human like figure to not draw too much attention to it.

Great explanation! I too thought it was a ritual to keep an entity at bay to prevent Robbert and his friend from, well, exploding. Perhaps they were gaining something from that ritual, which is why the frat boy was so genuinely happy in the dungeon. Perhaps immortality was what they gained, considering he didn't die even with a hole in his head. When the protagonist escapes, he leaves the two men behind, and the entity is free, who he drops off at the hospital. Still unsure about the relationship between Rob and the guy with the hunting rifle though, I'm not even sure if they are working together or not. There seems to be a much deeper story there too. There are many layers to this story and I'm interested in knowing what other people got from it.
@phalamy9180
@phalamy9180 7 жыл бұрын
SuperOnionmaster I think that someone or maybe some other entity chose the two to perform the ritual and made the immortal so they never stop.

I'm a driver sometimes people outside are range call in due to pthe place in there area being closed or telling to call us but it happens the more surprising part is not dilvering the the pizzas getting the cash then leaving like why stay you don't get more by staying if anything you lose money the longer your out and a 130 tip that my whole night so something like this i would accept the tip and bolt it hoping the pizzas were perfect though wouldn't mind having to fix it if nessary I get 4/hr driving 12.50/hr in the shop

I agree, no one seems to be posting longer stories anymore....but I listen to these while cleaning, doing laundry, or (most importantly) trying to wind myself down enough to sleep. The shorter ones can be really unsatisfying at those times... if I can't get into the story it just becomes backround noise, in a way more distracting than relaxing. I can always rely on this channel though- for the narration skills, length of videos and the content you choose. Thanks for putting the time in.

I ended up just putting on the don't fuck with me face and low and behold it was a weeb who didn't want his mother to know that he had ordered food. Needless to say I always went to the front or they were not getting the food after that.

This was an amazing narration. I love the long stories the best!this had the feel of one of those K. Banning Kellum stories. Mixing the mundane with the cosmic horror. Maybe they were trying to keep a portle to Delphia closed through sacrifice, and it was an agent of Tobit who escaped in the car with the pizza guy. Some of the other narrators brake the long ones up in to parts .I really appreciate you not making us wait for an ending :)

I've never understood the ppl that look back while running. It slows you down. Also don't understand those that watch. I was with a friend once and as we were walking we heard a car take off to follow us. I ran without looking back so I made it into my home. She had looked back so the guy caught up. It was a neighbor of mine that was wanting her. Not gonna get into all the reasons of that. But she was so scared, she pissed herself. And he told her, "You're lucky you're with Dragonfly and you know it. I'm not getting her involved but rest assured I'll catch you out alone sometime or with some body that don't matter" A couple years later, she was found shot in the head as was another friend of hers.

I totally agree to your piece in the description. In my opinion, some, if not all, of the best readings are the longer ones! They have story, character, and real value compared to the shorter ones. Short narratives always end abruptly and cliche; meet a character, tragedy, death(or never-ending suffering).

I truly agree. Long stories really have somewhat been scarce to find but they are a joy to listen to. Loved the story and lovely video as always doctor. :)

"hardly anyone else is tackling the long stories any more" yes!! 1000000x yes! the short ones aren't scary to me because they're just over too fast. i need 20 minute+, not 6 minute shorts! ty dr

If I do one under ten minutes, it has to be especially appealing. These hour-long ones are hard to put together in a short time frame, though!

Ha. I delivered pizzas in my honda a couple months ago. Good times. No spectacular stories came out of it but that, the toking and the driving around in rural areas made this story hit pretty close to home. Was a good listen, long stories with relatable characters are always refreshing to hear.

I often wonder whether the writers of these ambiguously ended pastas have clear endings to the stories that they're just not sharing, or whether they're created just to mess with people. It sounds like it could be based on a strange nightmare.
