You can really tell Antoine was excited in this one, it’s fun to watch!! The voice over script was new and different, reminded me of Bourdain at times. Not sure how I feel about that type of format, but enjoy seeing you both play around with the content! We will be in Paris in late November and your videos are a Saturday staple as we plan for our trip. We cant wait to get back to Paris!

We just stayed in Beaune in June after leaving Lyon on our way back to Paris. We stayed in an apartment in the town square across from the church. We loved this little town. Unfortunately we arrived late on Saturday and missed the fresh market that morning, but the restaurant food was amazing. The Hospice was very impressive too, especially for my wife who is a nurse. We will definitely stay here again on a future visit to France. Antoine is always so fun to watch, but this time he was more entertaining than ever. Thanks so much for another wonderful video.

I loved this vlog. Thank you so much. I loved the dude on the piano, if I'm not mistaken was Chopin, on a slightly out of tune piano. Very special. The Hospices de Beaune is an incredible place, it would have been the lap of luxury for those being cared for there. They would have received wholesome nurturing food and the sisters would read to them, mostly comforting passages from the bible. They would also have heard services and masses. There's a lot here for the modern health care system to learn.

We had two nights and three days in Beaune in 2022. We were excited to visit the Burgundy region as my favourite French Grape varietal is Chardonnay and my husband’s favourite is Pinot Noir. Our only mistake was spending a week in Provence with a friend who is a world renowned wine expert and by the time we got to Beaune, our livers were unable to make it! We absolutely loved the Hospice, and the town of Beaune is so quaint and walkable. We can’t wait to go back!

Yes, and part of behaving is being mindful that in even in wine regions and other tourist hot-spots, there live people who are just trying to go about their everyday business. French wines are great, but trifle misunderstood. In any case, don't blame France! I recall being young and buying $/€40 bottles of (red) Bordeaux wines leaving me very disappointed. At that time, I wasn't aware most clairets as well as wines in general need to be aerated. Furthermore, I did't know many high quality French wines actually are meant to be aged several years after purchase in order to develop their full potential. Bourgogne/Burgundy wines are a completely different story. Most of them don't age well at all. Personally, I'm very fond of red wines from the French wine districs south of the famous Bordeaux area. This evening, I'll be enjoying a classic piece of art made of Carignan grapes from Languedoc-Roussillon. It costed me only $/€ 9.

I, personally, would advise anyone not to join this group or subscribe to these videos. I made the unfortunate mistake of critiscing a video from this channel because it was (in my opinion) silly advice for travellers perhaps thinking they were going into space rather than the biggest country in the EU. Is a 20 min video about buying a metro ticket really valid when the machine literally 'speaks' English? IMO, no. I had the audacity to call out a lady on this site who was criticising hotel room cleanliness. I was branded 'an enemy of the US' by many commenters. Well.... my holidays will be spent in France from now on (and always have been). Go ahead and vote Trump. (Which is a fart in 'real' English). I won't be visiting you anytime soon.
